Accredited Practising Dietitian
Fofe Vrettos
Principal Dietitian, Bowral Nutrition
"Common sense, backed by science."
Fofe is the principal Accredited Practising Dietitian at Bowral Nutrition in the Southern Highlands, with a Bachelor of Science (Nutrition) and a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Wollongong, both with Distinction, and a further credential as an eating disorder clinician (CEDC-D). She sees clients in person in Bowral and Australia-wide by telehealth.
She came to dietetics through her own son: dietary changes made an enormous difference to his life as a neurodivergent kid, and that sent her back to university. Food intolerance is a core part of the practice, and she is clear that the only evidence-based test for it is a properly run elimination diet, which she guides as part of a normal consultation. Bowral Nutrition is neurodivergent-led and takes a food-first, neurodiversity-affirming approach, from IBS and the low FODMAP diet to 'fussy' eating in children and NDIS clients.
Bring your BellyMystery pattern summary to a session with Fofe and she'll help you turn it into an elimination and challenge plan that suits the whole household.
Before your appointment
Walk in with a pattern summary, not a guess.
Log meals and symptoms in BellyMystery for a couple of weeks, then bring the summary to Fofe. It is a starting point for the conversation, not a diagnosis.
