"Diabetes, food intolerance and NDIS dietitian in Melbourne's south east"
Russell is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, Accredited Sports Dietitian and Credentialled Diabetes Educator with more than 15 years of experience across hospitals, aged care, corporate nutrition and private practice. He holds a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from Flinders University and a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education, and has worked with North Melbourne Football Club and the Coburg Lions.
His main areas are diabetes, food intolerance and IBS, and weight management, and he supports people with disability, particularly Prader-Willi Syndrome, including self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. He sees clients at Tyner Road Medical Centre in Wantirna South on Mondays and Fridays, with home visits on request. He builds plans around realistic, attainable goals, and allows at least three visits to properly assess and treat a food intolerance. Care plan referrals are booked through the medical centre.
Bring your BellyMystery pattern summary to a session with Russell and he'll help you work out which foods are worth testing, and how to do it properly.
Before your appointment
Walk in with a pattern summary, not a guess.
Log meals and symptoms in BellyMystery for a couple of weeks, then bring the summary to Russell. It is a starting point for the conversation, not a diagnosis.
